On this day five years ago: a screening of Bienvenido Mr. Marshall in Guardamar
Guardamar hosted a screening of the Spanish film Bienvenido Mr. Marshall, according to a report published by Todo Cultura Vega Baja in 2021.
Contemporary reports say that Guardamar had a date with Spanish cinema: Bienvenido Mr. Marshall was part of a screening announced in the town. Five years have now passed since that news was published by Todo Cultura Vega Baja on 15 October 2021.
Who would have thought it? The film’s title alone was enough to give the day a name of its own. The report covered a simple, familiar offering: cinema in Guardamar, with a Spanish film at its centre. This anniversary is recorded here with no embellishments beyond those allowed by the report.
To find out more about that screening, we invite you to read Todo Cultura Vega Baja’s report.
