Guardamar’s AM Señor del Monte performs today at Almoradí’s Teatro Cortés
The performance, alongside a chamber group, is part of the 33rd Provincial Gathering of Easter Week Brotherhoods and Guilds, which ends this Sunday.
Guardamar’s Agrupación Musical Señor del Monte will perform today, Sunday 18 October, at 11.00 at Almoradí’s Teatro Cortés, alongside a chamber group. The performance is part of the 33rd Provincial Gathering of Easter Week Brotherhoods and Guilds, taking place from 16 to 18 October.
The Junta Mayor de Cofradías de Almoradí is organising the gathering, promoted by the Junta Diocesana de Semana Santa de Orihuela-Alicante with the support of the Town Council. Today’s programme also includes a promotional video about the local Easter Week celebrations, a closing Mass at San Andrés parish church and a brotherhood meal.
This year’s edition coincides with the 50th anniversary of Almoradí’s Junta Mayor, established in 1976. The town previously hosted the provincial gathering in 1999; this is the second time it has been held there.
